The Camaro 1LE was initially launched to the auto market in the year 1988 but shortly 11 years after the initial debut the model was discontinued due to low sales, few hundreds of units of the car were sold. It was then launched in the year 2013 but as an optional trim package known as the 1SS and the 2SS, but the manufacturer now intends to release a 2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE and this model will have a wholly redesigned interior and exterior features in order to provide customer satisfaction and boost sales that the previous model failed to provide.
2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE – Unique Feature
The exterior of the 2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE has some significant changes, the front, and the rear bumper resembles that of the Camaro SS but, however, the rear end of the 1LE is fitted with a gurney-style spoiler. The car appears sportier and rides on a 20-inch wheel, and the installed front and rear stabilizer provides enhanced the performance and the stability of the car even at high speeds. 2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE – Engine and Performance
The 2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE under the hood performance is provided by a 6.2 L V8 engine that is capable of generating a maximum output power of 455 hp which is an improvement from the previous engine that provided an output power of 426 hp while also giving a maximum output torque of 455 lb-ft, which is an improvement of 35 hp. The engine is expected to be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, unlike the-the SS Camaro that is fitted with an 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine of the car is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph within only 4.3 seconds and only 12.5 seconds for the car to run a quarter-mile. The top speed of the car is 115 mph, and the fuel economy is 24 mpg while in highways and 16 mpg while driving in the city.
2017 Chevy Camaro 1LE – Price and Expected Release Date
The car is expected to be sold at a price of the range between $27,000 and $37,500 and it’s expected to be available in the market anytime in the year 2016 or early year 2017. Upon release, the car will face competition from models such as the Dodge Challenger.
