Having been introduced to the market in the since 1963, the Malibu Chevrolet is a mid-sized car by the Chevrolet manufacturer. It was first released to the auto markets in the year 1963 and was sold to the year 1984, production halted until again the year 1997 and since then production has continued up to the present day. Originally the Malibu was offered as a rear wheel drive until the year 1984 when it was updated to front wheel drive. The 2017 Chevy Malibu is anticipated to be the most luxurious sedan of all times and designed with excellent specification, and this makes the car more attractive. The exterior of the car has been improved, and the dimensions have slightly been altered, the car length has relatively been increased by 2.36- inches while the ground clearance has been increased to about 3.54-inches, therefore providing the sedan with off-road capabilities. Due to the changes in the dimensions of the car, the cabin is now enlarged and offers sufficient head and leg room to the occupants. The center of the dashboard has been equipped with a new LCD touchscreen display for navigation and entertainment purposes; a Chevrolet MyLink has also been installed. The seats are adjustable and for the convenience of the users, they have been wrapped in a quality material for comfort.
2017 Chevy Malibu – Engine Specs
Under the hood of the 2017 Chevy Malibu, is provided by various powertrains, a primary engine and also a hybrid version. The primary engine is a 2.0 L inline-4 turbocharged engine capable of delivering up to 250 hp and at the same time generating a maximum torque of 258 lb-ft. For the hybrid version, a 1.8 L inline-4 engine is provided capable of delivering a maximum power of 122 hp and a torque of 277 and an electric motor is also available.
