2017 GMC Canyon Denali – Engine and Performance
According to the manufacturers, the 2017 GMC Canyon Denali will come as a crew cab with either two-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. There are two engine options, a 3,6 liter V6 engine that produces 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The engine will come with a six-speed automatic transmission and will have trailer-towing rating of 7000 pounds in two-wheel driver setting. The engine is expected to have an efficiency of 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg in the highway and an overall efficiency of 20 mpg – on all wheel drive. Choosing 2 Wheel Drive option drops the highway driving efficiency rate to 26 mpg. The other engine on offer is a 2.8-liter Duramax turbocharged diesel engine. This 2.8-liter Duramax engine produces 181 horsepower at 369 lb.-ft. of torque. It will have a fuel efficiency of 32 31 miles per gallon on the open highway.
2017 GMC Canyon Denali – Release Date and Price
The 2017 GMC Canyon Denali is expected to be available from dealerships by the end of 2016. The car is expected to cost over $40,000. Lovers of pick up trucks will love this because it looks luxurious but performs like a true GMC workhorse.
